CLIMATE & TERROIR: A continental climate with warm summers and cold
winters. The terroir has elements of weathered granite, schist and
slate.
VINIFICATION: The fermentation is stopped by adding
wine alcohol followed by three years of maturation in wooden barrels.
GRAPES: touriga francesa, tinta roriz, touriga nacional
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 20.00%
AROMA & TASTE: Classic aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry. The
taste is full and round with ripe notes of dark fruit. Long lasting
aftertaste with a concentrated sweetness.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve as an aperitif or with ripe
blue cheeses
